Knee Arthroscopy/Knee Replacement

Knee Arthroscopy is a procedure for the purpose of diagnosing and treating knee problems. Injuries and wear and tear can lead to knee joint pain. Arthroscopy gives a surgeon the ability to determine the problem and try to help you move in comfort again. It gives your surgeon access to your knee joint through small incisions and ability to see and work inside your knee.

Living with a worn or injured knee joint can be painful. In many cases an orthopaedic surgeon can replace all or part of the damaged knee joint. Knee replacement surgery almost always reduces joint pain. During this surgery, the damaged knee joint is replaced with an artificial implant (prosthesis). For many people, having this surgery means a return to pain-free movement.
